Cancellation Policies
We recommend carefully reviewing our cancellation policies before making any changes or cancellations, so you can make the best decision according to your plans.
* Full refund: if canceled 30 days or more before check-in.
* 50% refund: if canceled between 7 and 30 days before check-in.
* No refund: if canceled less than 7 days before check-in.
* The policy also applies to date changes: they are considered a cancellation and a new reservation.
We truly appreciate your understanding. Confirming your dates in advance will help ensure a smooth, clear experience aligned with your expectations.
Events and Celebrations
Weddings, events, or social gatherings are not allowed. The properties at CLA Malinalco Villas are intended exclusively for restful stays.
Included Services
The rental of Casa Los Ángeles and Casa Canela includes the services of a cook, housekeeper, and caretaker, as well as all cleaning supplies and essential household items. Food is not included; however, the chef can prepare meals using ingredients provided by the guest. Menus can be gladly adapted to preferences, allergies, or special dietary needs.
For Casa Guayaba, Casa Limoncito, and Casa Panchito, staff service is optional. You may hire a staff member who takes care of housekeeping and meal preparation for an additional cost of $600 MXN per day, for an 8-hour shift. Cleaning supplies and basic household items are included. Meal preparation follows the same conditions.
Visitors
Visitors are welcome from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. To ensure a comfortable and well-attended stay, in some cases it may be necessary to arrange additional service staff.
At Casa Los Ángeles and Casa Canela, up to 10 visitors are allowed.
At Casa Guayaba, Limoncito, and Panchito, up to 6 visitors are allowed.
We kindly appreciate your support in respecting this schedule. If your group is larger, it will be our pleasure to assist you with accommodation options in our villas or nearby hotels.
Food and Beverages
Guests must bring their own food and beverages or arrange grocery shopping prior to their arrival, as these are not included in the rental rate.
If you prefer, you may request assistance from a team member to shop in town. Groceries can be arranged in advance for an additional fee of $200 MXN (Malinalco) or $400 MXN (Tenancingo).
Capacity and Additional Fees at Hotel Flora & Fauna
The 4 cabins are designed to comfortably accommodate up to 2 guests. If you wish to add an extra person, an additional fee of $700 MXN per night will apply.
Pets
All of our villas and cabins are pet-friendly, with the exception of the Bungalow. We kindly ask that pets are supervised and that common areas are respected. At Hotel Flora & Fauna, there is an additional fee of $400 MXN per pet.
Pool Heating
The pools at all of our private homes can be heated using solar panels. During the colder months, we recommend using the auxiliary gas boiler heating system, available for an additional fee ranging from $1,200 to $1,800 MXN per heating session, depending on the ambient temperature and the desired water temperature. This fee covers gas consumption only.
This service must be requested at least 24 hours in advance, as that is the time required to reach a comfortable temperature. Payment can be made in advance or directly to the caretaker, who is also responsible for purchasing the fuel.
At Hotel Flora & Fauna, the water bodies are natural, maintaining ambient temperature year-round, and do not have a heating system.
Check-in and Check-out Times
We strive to offer flexible check-in and check-out times based on availability and same-day guest changes. Please confirm in advance. On weekends outside peak season, late check-out is generally allowed. However, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the standard times are:
- Check-in: 3:00 pm
- Check-out: 12:00 pm
Internet Connection
We offer high-speed internet access in all rooms, perfect for both relaxation and remote work. Three services are available: Total Play, Infinitum, and Starlink, ensuring a stable and fast connection for video calls, streaming content, or simply staying connected.
Discounts and Rates
Discounts for weekly and monthly stays are discretionary and do not apply during peak season.
Definition of Weekends
Weekends include the nights of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Respect and courtesy within the premises.
At Grupo CLA, we deeply value respect and courtesy at all times. We kindly ask our guests to maintain a friendly, professional, and respectful attitude toward our staff and facilities, just as they would wish to be treated.
In the event that this principle is not upheld, CLA Malinalco Villas reserves the right to cancel or terminate the stay without the possibility of a refund.
General Rules
- Please respect the rest and well-being of all guests.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the property. It is only permitted in designated areas.
- The use of common areas should be conducted with care and responsibility.
- Any damage caused will be the guest’s responsibility.
